Generally Oriental rugs will increase in value with age and proper care. They can be preserved and passed down from generation to generation.

While vacuuming removes most dry soil, the oily soil collected from different sources like pollutions deposited on carpet fibers, which can cause the color of rugs become dull. Although the color isn't lost is just hidden under a dirty film. If it remains too long it becomes gummy and difficult to remove.

Recommendation:
  • Wash your rug every 3 to 6 years depending on the location and traffic your rug is subject to it.
  • Rugs should be rotated from every 6 months to one year to insure even wears.
  • Vacuume on a regular basis
  • Use a non-slip pad is helpful under the rug. This helps protect the rug from slippage.
  • Spots & spills should be cleaned immediately.
